Joe Jackson is the President CEO of ECON Consulting Group, ECON is a professional service firm. ECON provides management consulting services for clients in both the public and private sector. Econ’s services deliver comprehensive business solutions to provide its clients with business development, growth and profitability strategies to help achieve its economic growth and profitability.
Joe also serves as President/CEO of the Greater Atlanta Economic Alliance, GAEA. The Alliance’s is a U.S. Domestic 501 c3 nonprofits, its mission is to increase the capacity and the capabilities of the small, female and minority business enterprises seeking to do business in the transportation, construction and related industries. The Alliance over sees the USDOT’s Small Business Transportation Resource Center which covers Georgia, South Carolina and Tennessee. The SBTRC programs focuses on Counseling, Contracts and Access to Capital. Joe previously served from 2003-2016 as the Director of Supplier Diversity for the multi-billion-dollar Hartsfield Jackson Development Program and the ATLNEXT Capital Improvement. He was responsible for managing the small, female and minority owned business enterprise participation, technical assistance, training and outreach programs. During Joe’s assignment the Program achieved $1.6 billion amount paid to MWBE and DBE firms or 37% participation.
Mr. Jackson received his Doctorate from Concord Law School, Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Southern Mississippi in Mass Communication with a minor in Coaching Psychology. He has also completed executive leadership programs from Harvard Business School and Dartmouth College, Tuck School of Business in Hanover, New Hampshire.
